Here is aย Q&A I did over on Cup of Jo, with lots of pics and stories about how and why we became Weekday Vegetarians. I also did a book Q&A on instagram last week that is saved to aย highlight reel. As long as youโre over there, you can check out a reel I did on our family favorite,ย brothy beans with burrata and pesto. They were the first recipe I posted on this newsletter and I put them on the cover of my book for a reason โ legit no-fuss, legit delicious. Lastly, yesterday Joe Yonan wrote about myย pizza salad with marinated white beansย inย The Washington Post,ย and that was exciting for me and my beans. Thank you, Joe!

Do you all know about Food52โs podcast โPlay Me a Recipe?โ Itโs basically someone walking you through a meal while theyโre cooking it in real time โ and itโs unbelievably fun to listen to, even if you yourself are not cooking while youโre listening. (I like playing episodes during runs, lol.) I recorded one last week while I was making tagliatelle with corn, tomatoes, and โonion baconโ from the book (page 87) andย you can listen to it here.ย

Congratulations on the book! My teen daughter has been moving toward a vegetarian diet, so I am trying to support her the best that I can (my teen son is NOT interested, and he eats about 9000 calories a day it seems like, so itโs tricky!). To further complicate matters, I am Celiac. Just wondering if you think I could adapt most of your recipes? I can sub pasta, but crust-y things are more difficult. Thanks.
