Iโ€™m a day late on this โ€” sorry! โ€” but a quick update to let you know that I was on Food Networkโ€™s โ€œThe Kitchenโ€ yesterday (thatโ€™s Jeff Mauro andย Marcela Valladolid up there!) talking champagne brunch, How to Celebrate Everything, and the ridiculously happyย pancake โ€œcakeโ€ you are looking at below. If you are like us, with one more day left of vacation and looking for a way to LEAVE IT ALL ON THE FIELD, this is your recipe. Itโ€™s like a crepe cake โ€” ย every bit as delicious and indulgent, but since youโ€™re making half as many layers, not nearly as laborious. Trust me on this, if you are a Sunday Pancake Ritual family, this is a pretty legit way to take it to the next level.

Happy New Year Everyone! Iโ€™ll post a link to the episode as soon as itโ€™s available. xoxox

I know, I know,ย strawberries: not the most January of fruits. To that, I can only say that no one at a brunch table will stop eating to a) take note of this or b) breathe. (P.S. How fun would it be for a kid to wake up to this on his or her birthday?)

Happy 2017!

My husband fulfilled my wish list this Christmas with a copy of How to Celebrate Everything, and Iโ€™ve already read it cover to cover. Love, love, love! There is nothing better than a recipe with a great story behind it, and youโ€™ve given us that on nearly every page. Thanks so much for a great read!
