You absolutely inspired my cooking yesterday. I made the challah, which I had to divide and give to friends. I made the Kouign Amann posted by someone on your face book feed. And, I made Kenziโs lamb gyros on serious eats and the pitas at King Arthur Flour. All of that good food was balm for the soul, and I got to deliver pastries and challah to friends to spread some cheer last night.

I bought the book. I made the simplest one, just to try it, and it was lovely, light, luscious, delectable. Iโm going to make the sesame one this weekend, and eventually ALL of them. They are easy to make, and a reasonable amount of cake for a small family. So good.
